Ooohh, as I pulled up the web log page I am noticing we have more choices now (yahoo - there's spell check...did you read that Dad?!? Hopefully no more un-intended typo's!!). Onto the subject at hand - The Mermaid Swap....How fun?!!? I love the movie The Little Mermaid, the colors found on a mermaid are fantastic and I had a great time shopping for my swap buddy! She's was on the ball though, cause I got my box last weekend and I am just getting hers out (so sorry Rebecca). My partner was Rebecca at Thrifty Goodness (sorry, I can't get the link to work...I hope that doesn't require an update on my account). She sent the most amazing stuff....
Including the cute shell collecting bag you see...she crocheted that herself....this girls got talent!
I LOVE everything Rebecca - I have already worn the necklace and you were right, it was screaming my name - the black and white card is really fun too! Hmmm, one day when I have my house by the lake I can display these seaside beauties all year - until then, they will come out in the summer.
Tonight I plan to work on my before and afters....I got a big box o'frames at a garage sale last week that I can't wait to paint (with a lovely shade of "french blue" oops paint from Home Depot. See you all tomorrow!
I'm so glad you like everything! I know I was early, inspiration struck and voila! I made the little mermaid collage, too. That was kind of fun and I think I'll make another one when I can find more fun chippy frames. :) I'm making myself a big bag like yours to use for the green market (fruit and veggies).
I know I'll love what you send. I'm out of town for a few days so I won't be around to check mail until later next week.
hugs!
